1. Platform access
Recruiters may post jobs, upload job description videos, receive applications, and manage recruitment workflows.
2. Legal compliance
You agree to use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws, including:
- Equality Act 2010 (including non-discrimination and reasonable adjustments)
- UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
- All applicable employment and advertising laws
Recruiters are responsible for ensuring job adverts, screening criteria, and hiring processes are lawful and fair.
3. Recruiter verification
Access to searchable candidate profiles and CVVideos is restricted to verified recruiters. Verification may include business checks, identity confirmation, and acceptance of these Terms.
YourCVVideo.com may suspend or revoke access where verification fails or misuse is identified.
4. Decision responsibility
All hiring decisions remain the recruiter/employer’s sole responsibility. YourCVVideo.com provides technology tools only and does not make hiring decisions.
5. Candidate data handling
You must protect candidate data, keep it confidential, and use it only for recruitment/hiring purposes. You must implement appropriate security measures and restrict access to authorised staff.

6. Misuse & penalties
Misuse includes (without limitation): unauthorised sharing of candidate data, discriminatory screening or decision-making, attempting to export data in breach of these Terms, or processing candidate data unlawfully.
Misuse may result in:
- Immediate suspension of access
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to relevant authorities where required
- Legal action for breach of contract and/or data protection obligations
7. Enterprise audit & compliance information
Enterprise clients may request reasonable compliance information relating to:
- Security controls and safeguards
- AI usage summaries (supporting features, not automated decisions)
- Retention and deletion practices
- Data protection measures and vendor management
Any audit will be conducted by agreement and subject to confidentiality and security requirements.
